It’s been over six months since Scribbleomaniac became live (so I realized today). I thought that it’s time that I should change the blog’s main banner as well as the cover pics of the facebook page and twitter stream as a token of this sixmonthversary.
It’s nothing grand really; just a simple collage put together to highlight the essence of Scribbleomaniac i.e. travel, poetry and furkids.
It has been a journey with plenty of learnings for me. Scribbleomaniac continues to be my personal blogging venture with no plans of money making at all as yet. Somehow, I can’t equate business with what I write. It is all too personal I feel. Or maybe I’m still not there.
Anyhow, with zero marketing efforts, almost minimal referrals, and zero expectations from a rather zombified circle, I appreciate all the organic reach and support that I have received from the blogging community and especially the insta friends/bloggers. I am no where near the star bloggers list, and which is the reason all the support means so much more meaningful to me.
When I started this blog, I thought I will write my short stories and creative writings along with some animal rights and advocacy posts. But then, I realized the pattern of blogging and what all was inspiring me was quite different from what I had in mind initially.
Analyzing the blogging routine further, I concluded that Scribbleomaniac is mostly a log for my travel reviews, poems and some heartfelt animal/fur kids posts. The random scribbles are always there too, because comeon there is always so much else that grasps my mind all the time.
Anyhow, today I don’t want to brag about anything really, simply because I have achieved nothing either. However, I just feel it’s so important to thank each one of you who takes out the time to follow my blog regularly, read my blog posts and all those who liked Scribbleomaniac’s facebook page.
But most of all, I want to thank the twitter and insta followers from whom I expected nothing at all. Sometimes, it just turns out that strangers have more in common with you than you can ever imagine. It’s a funny thing about life.
So once again, Thank You, all of you for being there!!! I hope you will continue to enjoy my blogs.
