Today’s post is merely an extension of my brief review on ‘Love in the Time of Cholera’ by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Since, I spilled the beans and created such a hoopla around the book and its story, that I thought it would be better if I simply share some of the best lines from this great piece of literature.
To keep it rather short and sweet, I have picked 10 memorable quotes from Love in the Time of Cholera for you guys. Hope you’ll like them.
I just finished reading one of the greatest pieces of literature – Love in the Time of Cholera by the brilliant Gabriel Garcia Marquez. As my tale goes, being a super slow reader with extremely rough work schedules, I can’t always give too much time to reading every day. Let’s put it this way that I don’t get to read as much as I wish to. However, this particular book was really a topper on my list and I’m quite happy to complete it.
I finally managed to finish the book, ‘Marley and Me’ by John Grogan after a long time – it’s less than six months though, so I didn’t really set a new record this time. Not that the book was slow or boring, in fact I loved it cover to cover; it’s just that I am a genuinely slow reader really (quite in contrast to the way I can write) and this is every bit a slow reader’s note.
